Alvyra Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 October 2026

Alvyra is a personal planning and health app. Your data stays on your iPhone. We do not run a server, we do not have user accounts, and we do not see, collect or sell your data.

Who we are

Alvyra is developed by AZ Connect, Switzerland. Questions about this policy: zvjezdan.garic@azconnect.ch.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter or let Alvyra read is stored only on your device: goals, routines, daily priorities, check-ins, journal reflections, habit and water logs, and focus sessions. There is no cloud sync and no Alvyra account. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it. You can export a backup file yourself from the app, and you decide where that file goes.

Apple Health

If you allow it, Alvyra reads your steps, sleep, body measurements, workouts and menstrual cycle data from Apple Health, to show them on Today and Progress and to calculate your progress. Alvyra does not write anything to Apple Health. This data is not sent to us or to any third party, and it is not used for advertising.

Calendar

If you allow it, Alvyra reads your calendar to show free time and upcoming events. It never creates, edits or deletes events. Calendar data stays on your device.

Location and weather

If you allow it, Alvyra uses your location while the app is open to show the local weather on Today. To get the weather, the app sends your approximate coordinates to the free weather service Open-Meteo, and Apple's location services look up the place name. No account or personal identifier is attached to the request, and Alvyra does not store your location history. If you do not allow location access, the weather feature simply uses a default location.

AI Coach (optional, not in beta builds)

Alvyra can offer an optional AI Coach chat. It is switched off in the current beta. If it is enabled in a future version, the text you choose to send, together with a summary of the app data needed to answer, is sent to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate a reply. Nothing is sent unless you use that feature, and this policy will be updated before it becomes available.

What we do not do

TestFlight

During beta testing, Apple's TestFlight service handles the invitation and installation. Apple may process your email address and basic usage and crash information under its own privacy policy. If you send feedback by email from the app, it is sent from your own mail app to the address shown, and only contains what you choose to write.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device. They are not sent from a server.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw any permission at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy & Security or under Alvyra. You can delete all data by deleting the app. Because we do not hold your data, there is nothing for us to export or erase on our side. If you have questions or requests under Swiss data protection law or the GDPR, contact us at the address above.

Children

Alvyra is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, for example when new features such as the AI Coach go live, we will update the date at the top of this page.
